How to Start Working with Vocal Arts Fitness:
|
|
Once you decide that it is time to start private instruction we will meet for a brief
interview. This informal meeting is to get a chance to discuss you vocal goals, interests, previous and existing work, and
musical interests. This also gives both of us a chance to get to know each other. Vocal lessons are extremely personal, so
you need to be very comfortable with your instructor. You need to have complete trust in what you are being taught, or nothing
will work. During the interview you will be given the chance to sing some scales. This will give us the opportunity to assess
your voice and to make suggestions regarding the teaching approach to grow you as a singer. When you are ready to start you
will be given an enrollment form and liability release, to be filled out and returned. We offer both half and one hour sessions per week. The program is a month to month so there are no long term
obligations or financial commitments. However, most students enrolled continue with the program for years.
